What is Caramel Day? Caramel Day is held once a year in Randersgade Skole. It is the graduation day for grade 9s. On this day, all the grade 9s are dressed up in fanciful costumes. They would throw sweets in every classroom and would spray water using water guns at their juniors. The rest of the students would prepare plastic bags to collect as many sweets as they could. If they wanted to collect more sweets, they would have to get wet by their seniors. A performance is also put up by the grade 9s to celebrate their graduation. All classes are cancelled for that hour and resumed after the performance.
It is indeed an interesting tradition that the school has and we were all excited as well. Xing Fen and Chao Ngin also joined in the fun by collecting sweets and were sprayed by the students as well.
