Introduction
I am Gunita Kaur Shahi. I am currently a Year 2 student studying in the National Institute of Education. I am in the Bachelor of Science (Education) Programme, primary track and am majoring in Mathematics. My two curriculum studies subjects are English and Music. I love adventures and have lots of fun learning new, exciting things about life, my surroundings and people.
Teaching Philosophies
I believe that every child has the ability to learn and explore. Every child is unique and their learning styles differ. Despite the differences in each child, each and every one of them should be accepted for who they are. Learning happens in a positive environment, filled with laughter. My dream is to be a teacher that is able to motivate students to learn in an engaging way. In time to come, I will begin teaching in a Primary school and will gain more experience in teaching. I will learn more about how children learn. One thing is for sure though, I want every child I encounter in my teaching journey to be inspired to learn and to achieve their potential.
