First week in Copenhagen

Hans Henrik Lund is our landlord for the apartment. Gunita and I are sharing a room. On our first day, Hans also offered to bring us to the supermarket to get some groceries done at the nearby supermaket.

The photos below are pictures of our room.

Hans also told us that there is a park near our apartment so the both of us decided to go down for a walk. It was really cold then. [ 11 degrees Celsius with strong wind] The park is really nice and there were many people jogging around despite the weather. We saw quite a few houses in the park itself and there were many ducks and birds around the place.

On Monday, we passed by supermarket that was in the open, they sold all kinds of fruits and vegetables. They even had stores selling fresh fish and other seafood.

We also went to walked around Stroget- the longest shopping area in Copenhagen.
The weather that day was really quite bad as it was raining for one moment and the next moment the sun was out. Nonetheless, we still enjoyed ourselves.

We decided to go for dinner at the restaurant called Mother. When we stepped into the place I noticed something interesting- all the locals were having a pizza each for themselves. This is probably something uncommon for the Singaporeans since we usually share a pizza with other people.

Some photos that were taken on Tuesday when we visited the little mermaid.

We had dinner near our place which was much more affordable than Mother. We had pizza and pasta for dinner, the pizza wasn't as good but the pasta on the other hand was really good.
