Waiting for transit in London, Heathrow Airport

Our excited faces. Can't wait to land in Copenhagen.
Upon arrival in Copenhagen, one of UCC's international practicum coordinator, Sabine, came to pick us up at the airport. It was a pleasure to have her to send us to our respective accommodation. At our accommodation, we were hosted by Kirsten for lunch. She's a very hospitable lady. After lunch, she offered to drive us to the supermarket to do our groceries shopping. She patiently waited for us for about an hour, we felt so bad to make her wait for us.

Today we went to UCC and met our supervisor, Margit Eva Jensen. We did our presentation on Singapore and Singapore's Education to her. She was quite impressed and became very interested in Singapore history and our education. She also introduced to us about Denmark's education system. We did a tour around the school as well. Initially Ms Margit wanted to take us out to visit the school's vicinity but unfortunately it was raining heavily. What a disappointment. We were dismissed at around noon and we went to explore the city by ourselves.

FREE DAY!
Today, we went visit The Little Mermaid. It is one of Copenhagen's most famous tourist attraction. The sculpture of the The Little Mermaid was a gift from Danish brewer Carl Jacobsen to the City of Copenhagen. The sculpture is made of bronze and granite and was inspired by Hans Christian Andersen’s fairy tale about a mermaid who gives up everything to be united with a young handsome prince on land.
